Can't the KABC::Addressee:phoneNumber and KABC::Addressee::address set the 
correct type if no entry was found, i.e. instead of 
   return Address();
use a 
   return Address(type);
and in phoneNumber instead of 
  return PhoneNumber();
use a 
  return PhoneNumber(QString(), type);

This would make sense, since then the phoneNumber or address returned by the 
functions always has the correct type set, and the developer would not have 
to bother about setting this just to make sure it is correct.
