Hi!
I'm working on ITIP / IMIP with korganizer. Cornelius Schumacher already
added some patches from me to the CVS.
My latest patches can be found here:
http://www.sbox.tugraz.at/home/v/vogel/korganizer/
For those who don't know about ITIP / IMIP:
It's a groupscheduling protocol defined in RFC 2446 and 2447. IMIP based on
ICAL (the calenderformat used by korganizer), and communication via email.
Many(?) clients do have support for ITIP. Including Outlook, Lotus Notes
and Evolution.
What you need to get it working:
You need to make a filter in kmail which pipes every mail through a script
called "korganizerIn" (included with korganizer). If you use IMAP you need
to apply the filter per hand.
That's all. New Events should now be seen in your korganizer-IncomingDialog.
What works:
publish, request, cancel, reply, refresh
And this doesn't work (yet):
add, counter, decline-counter, free-busy.
Several combinations and "special"-features, as this is only the beginning
(as I hope).
What I need:
Feedback, feedback, feedback
I want to know if the things I mentioned above do really work, and if the
interaction with other clients does work as well...
ciao
