You are right, this page definitely needs some work. It doesn't look too 
good, it doesn't show all relevant information and it isn't configurable at 
all. All this should be improved.

Sounds like a good idea.

I have applied the patch, but I have changed the background color from black 
to the blue, which is used by the about pages of Konqueror/KMail etc.
