I fully expected "ugh", but it's an effort to compromise from killing group
C completely.

The things that would change are:
 - relative switch to desktop shortcut will work but won't wrap the same
 - explicit switch to desktop shortcut will be "wrong"

 - effects show more options
 - pager will show more options
 - set on activity desktop menu will show more options
(not really a huge issue. Just don't change activities if you don't want to
change activities)

 - changing VD of a window that's on activitiy A won't change the VD of
that window on activity B
(arguably a feature)

The explicit switch to activity shortcuts and the activity switcher could
still work exactly as it does now.

Have I missed anything else?
