Ugh... I think that will kill the group 'C'*. While it /woul= d/ be
possible to to use multi-VD-multi-activity setup, it would be far from
convenient.

I fully expected "ugh&= quot;, but it's an effort to compromise from killing group C completely= .

The things that would change are:

=C2=A0- relative switch to desktop = shortcut will work but won't wrap the same

=C2=A0- explic= it switch to desktop shortcut will be "wrong"

=C2=A0- pager will sh= ow more options

=C2=A0- set on activity desktop menu will show mo= re options

(not really a huge issue. Just don't change activi= ties if you don't want to change activities)

=C2=A0- changing VD of a window=C2=A0 that's on activitiy A won'= t change the VD of that window on activity B

(arguably a feat= ure)

The explicit switch to activity shortcuts= and the activity switcher could still work exactly as it does now.

For the pager, that's definitely do-able. Not sur= e about the rest.
