This bug is extremely similar to bug #157244 except that all of my icons are completely \
inactive regardless of my mouse settings (single/double click to open). Setting "change pointer \
shape over icons" has no effect, nor does "automatically select icons".

The only particularly unique thing about my system (I suspect) is that I don't actually have a \
mouse; technically my only pointing device is a Wacom Intuos3 6x8 tablet. I will attach my \
xorg.cong and Xorg.0.log briefly, and will provide any other pertinent information upon \
request. I just don't even know what will be relevant. \
