Same with pictureframe (actually this "bug" is quite old).  
Pictureframe doesn't even use the standard background, but the problem
is still there.<br>

Also neither Phase transition effects work anymore, maybe for the same
reason.<br>

However I noticed that with the new caching feature Plasma drawing
performance are much higher now (mostly with stacked plasmoids); indeed
now it seems possible even dealing with transformed plasmoids without
burning the CPU :-D.<br>

But is there a way for a plasmoid to activate/deactivate its paint
cache? <br>
