Hello,

I recently upgraded my kde desktop to the latest version (2.2) and when I go
to set up system sound notifications knotify crashes.  I am running redhat
linux (I forget which version).  Anyway the system pops up a window with the
following backtrace:

The general message was:  The application KNotify (knotify) crashed and
caused the signal 6 (SIGABRT).

Also when I try running knotify from the command line the following is
printed:

MCOP ObjectManager: can't find implementation for Arts::X11GlobalComm.
knotify: core.cc:2016: static class ::Arts::GlobalComm_base *

::Arts::GlobalComm_base::_create(const class string & = "Arts::GlobalComm"):

Assertion `skel' failed.
KCrash: crashing.... crashRecursionCounter = 2
KCrash: Application Name = knotify path = <unknown> pid = 5695
ERROR: KUniqueApplication: DCOP communication error!

Any suggestions?
