i talked with some gstreamer guys today
and they liked your idea very much
But we need a decesion (of stw?) now...
1. focus on the gstreamer-integration
   with the frickled thing
2. focus on the very hard but long-term
   safe aRts-only solution

What do you think ?
or maybe both?
but who really wants to "waste" time on 1
if we know that 2 is the way to go....
