I believe the consensus was to port the Phonon 4 API to Qt5 so zero or
minimal code changes are needed to port Phonon apps to Qt 5.
Later there will be a new Phonon 5 API, which we reviewed in Randa. It
will be radically different.

Someone with better recollection or update info might correct me.

In any case. Manpower will be an issue.
