mpg123 source code is super ugly, this disqualifies
the code.(not re-entrant, bad callback api)
So forget mpg123.
Every codec should have at least be reentrant.
decoding qualitay? I tested splay against the iso reference
stream, its in the +/- 1 bit error range, but mad was
a bit better.
mad is the fastest decoder around, but maybe it has a bad
callback api too, dont know.
