It's still a bit unstable. Perhaps there's a problem with the pthread stuff.

I'll see if I can implement this (xine supports some discrete speed settings, 
like 50% / 200%).

I don't know how to implement this, it's not part of the Arts::PlayObject 
interface (AFAIK).
