I just switched computers, and also soundcards, from a pos ymf724 to a pos
intel i810 integrated pile. Unfortunetly, it's my business'es computer, so I
can't screw around with it *too* much. Well, I got the built-in drivers for
2.4.9 to work, but when artsd tries to start, it just uses 100% of the cpu
and sits there. No clients can connect, and if I do it at the commanline, it
never "backgrounds". A quick search through the archives don't seem to show
anything, so I was wondering if this was a known issue and if there is a
workaround.

I am running kde 2.2.1 on debian/sid x86 and artsd/noatun has been working
wonderfully up 'till now.

TIA and HAND.
