Hello,

To my knowledge, even though I am far from being very knowledgeable about that, one \
of the big problem is that Fink and Macports do not really go well along, and thus \
that you can get conflicts if you have the two of them running in the same system.

On the Macports side, most of the compilation "tricks" there could be are located in \
the Portfiles. There is no package kdesupport in Macports, but most of the \
environments variables set for kde are given in a group. You should check in the file \
/opt/local/var/macports/sources/rsync.macports.org/release/ports/_resources/port1.0/group/kde4-1.0.tcl, \
where most of the general environment variables for KDE are set for compilation on \
Mac. Probably you are missing one of them. You could also check for the group \
cmake-1.0.tcl, as kde4 depends on it.

Cheers,

Nicolas
