Hi all,
Just upgraded to kde2.2 on a rh7.1 system running Kernel 2.4.8. My printer
is connected to a Windoze2000 pc & shared over my network.
When I try & print from kmail, the app (kmail) hangs & I have to kill it
from a console. It worked fine with kde 2.1.1.
If I click on my printer icon & sent a test page it works. I tried printing
from the advanced editor & that stops responding too.
Before I upgraded I had no problems with printing. Am I missing something
simple here? I understand kde 2.2 supports the cups system, but I don't have
it installed. Do I need to?
Cheers everyone
Greg
