Thanks Werner.. I compiled and ran KMyFirewall. When I try to start it I
get :-

Create Rules for Chain: POSTROUTING
Error: iptables: Invalid argument
Setting up Rule: NAT_RULE FAILED! 

I did include IPTables in my build of kernel 2.6.10. Any suggestions ?
