If you upgraded everything from the current directories, there shouldn't be 
any conflict in running KDE 3.4 on Slackware. Did you upgrade QT at the same 
time you upgraded to KDE 3.4? I did all the upgrades using swaret and it all 
works fine. Running KDE 3.4 and QT 3.3.4.
