I haven't really understood this thread as I have always had both the main and 
extra toolcars on one line. 
IIRC all I did was size the window big enough, move the extra bar up and then 
widen it a bit more so that if any other icons were added from being in 
special modes it was still wide enough to fit them all on the one line and 
then save the profile making sure that save window size/position was ticked.
The only other thing I had done was removed some icons that I never use.
