Oooh, the dreaded GCC 3.4.3.  I had problems compiling KDE using 3.4.3
whereas 3.3.5 handled it w/o any problems whatsoever.

But, I'm at the end of what I can do to help you, Gianluca.  Perhaps someone
else can jump in?
