I don't think the DCOP daemon works different when accessed by the commandline 
tool, so maybe that is how it works in any case.

The KDE API docs only contain general information and the APIs of the libs.
IMHO the DCOP functions of an application should even go to the application's 
user manual.

I am playing with the idea of at least automatically extracting DCOP methods 
and their API comments from KDE's headers.
