I have never been able to get the sensors to work correctly (once almost but that was with 2.2.x).

I downloaded Ksensors after I found that there were actual patches available for 2.4.20.

I made new copy of the Kernel source and applied them. But, 2.4.20 [patched] won't build.

make[3]: Entering directory `/overflow/src/linux/drivers/i2c'
gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/overflow/src/linux/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -Wno-trigraphs -O2
-fno-strict-aliasing -fno-common -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -mpreferred-stack-boundary=2
-march=k6 -nostdinc -iwithprefix include -DKBUILD_BASENAME=i2c_frodo -c -o i2c-frodo.o
i2c-frodo.c
i2c-frodo.c:23:26: asm/hardware.h: No such file or directory

NO, I don't have that file: /usr/include/asm/hardware.h

Is it perhaps an obsolete file? NO, I can't find anything on Google or RPMFind.net.

It isn't in: asm-i386 although it does exist for other architectures.

Does anybody have the sensors working on a 2.4.20 Kernel that they built from source?

Any theories? ideas, etc.
