Hi,

I am also having difficulty upgrading my Suse 7.2's KDE to version 2.2.2.
I've downloaded all the RPM's from Suse's site, but trying to install most of
them, I get many dependency errors. Can I install with the --nodep option to
bypass the errors or will this just create more problems for me? Also,
what's involved in backing up my current KDE configuration? Can I simply
make a backup of /opt/kde2 and in case something goes wrong just copy it back
or is it more complicated than that? Thanks for supporting a newbie :)
