Not in the current version of Kmail. Version 3 due out March 18 will have
this ability. (You can have it now if you want the beta 1 test version.)

is it possible to list the smtp server the way you can include your name
password, like with ftp?
ie, yu can go to ftp.wherever.com then enter a name/password, or you can go
to name:password@ftp.wherever.com and the name password are entered in the
url. for smtp server can you enter nic:password@smtp.rogers.com?
i have never used a password for smtp, so i am just shooting in the dark
here.....
