Hello Lionel,

Thanks for the info. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that 4.2 may have
better support for the SiS630 chipset. I have trawled the net for
info and come across a heap but every thing I've tried has not been
successful enough to bother with. The manufacturers of my generic
laptop, Clevo, wipe their hands of supplying any drivers apart from
Windows. They refer you to the vendor who rebadges them, who, in my
case are about as useful as an udder on a bull.

At least X runs beautifully on my desktop machine.
