We might be able to help more if you gave us the pertinent lines[1] from
the end of config.log showing the exact failure message.

[1]  If you're not sure which of the lines are pertinent, the last 50
     or so will do.[2]
[2]  'tail -n 50 config.log' will give you the last 50 lines.
