And that is the root of all your problems. You should only build your own 
linux distro if you are very conversant with scripting and how linux works.

Your post shows errors and ommissions in half a dozen places at least even in 
setting up user home accounts.

There is no way anyone can really help you because we dont know what you have 
done where. I would recommend that you use a commercial distribution until 
you are ready to tackle such a task. There is no shame in learning to walk 
before you run.
