Howdy folks,
	I don't have much to say about these things, but I thought I'd
go ahead and chime in.  As far as the use of KDE2 vs. KDE1, I think that
the platform of the developer should be the platform of the product.
It makes life so much simpler.  If there is a need for continued KDE1
development, then in true open source fashion, it would be up to some
KDE1 developer to pick up KUML and carry on.
	As far as MDI goes, I found it interesting that Microsoft itself
has abandoned MDI in Word 2000.  Additionally, when I use Rose, there is
just not enough screen space to use it in anything but SDI mode (with
one view maximized at all times.)  Certainly there needs to be the
ability to have multiple top level frames, but I would not be so quick
to embrace MDI.
