Hi all,


Should we have a discussions section on our webpage ? We can ask there the
normal user not subscribed to this list for features and how they should work
and why we should implement it.

My biggest example is the bits-per-color-problem. Some users requested
16bits-per-color. Matthias don't want to implement it now, because he says that
we have to implement all filters and tools twice. I think we should have in our
design from the beginning. Then we have no great problems with it later. I
heard from a GIMP16-port. These guys are working on it over a year, but it's
very, very, very unstable.

This section can encourage our discussions.
