Thats could be very interesting, but it would really mean quite a lot of work.
Plus, they seem to prefer GTK, so I think mypaint would be the best candidate.

Does that widget actually has pressure sensitivity? Nokia's N810 doesn't, 
which makes it rather a silly sketching platform. Of course, a finger-painting
simulation could be fun...
