Subject: [Kde-kant] Bug#31851: Indenting selection with tab inserts blanks not selected
From: ekohler () iname ! com
Date: 2001-08-30 15:38:51
[Download RAW message or body]
Package: kate
Version: 1.0 (using KDE 2.2.0 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.1.93
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-96)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.2-2
OS/Compiler notes:
When indenting a selection with tab (but not with shift+tab) and "Indent with spaces" \
is select in the configuration, the select text goes right as expected, but the new \
inserted blanks do not appear as selected (that is, they show as white instead of \
black if my color for selected text is black).
How to reproduce:
Select any text from the beginning of the line. Press "tab". The new tab width will \
appear as white.
Expected behaviour:
The new blanks as black.
