Subject: [Kde-kant] Bug#35447: Files with long lines do not sroll properly
From: howells () kde ! org
Date: 2001-11-27 20:21:22
[Download RAW message or body]
Package: kate
Version: 2.0 (using KDE 2.9.0 1 (CVS >= 20011012))
Severity: normal
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.14-4GB
OS/Compiler notes:
On opening a file with long line endings, Kate should check how wide the file is, and \
put horizontal scroll bars in to scroll left to right if necessary.
However, on loading files with long line ending, this does not work, and the scroll \
bars are not put in place. So it is impossible to scroll from left to right.
See the file that I will attache when I get a bug tracking number as an example.
