kdevelop will be the name of the new version, gideon is a codename so the
developers can actually use kdevelop2 to develop kdevelop3 without one
overwriting parts of the others binaries and all during installation, or
just use kdevelop2 and see what is happening in kdevelop3. (I know they could
have just installed it in a different directory but that brings other crap
with it, like setting library and bin paths, etc). As soon as 2.0.1 is
released i think the plans are to rename the app back to kdevelop (it is
now stable enough to develop itself further with) and the .pot filename so
expect to loose a lot of messages (i believe out of the 900 or so messages
in gideon.pot only 600 are the same as in the current kdevelop.pot of
about 1800 messsges :(. I used the database thing on it to quickly
translate most entries to avoid having to do it all again...
