Hello,

this probably is not the proper group. but could
someone could help me out here.

i checked out the CVS version of KDE and compiled on
RedHat 6.2 system. I was able to successfully compile
all. but when i started the session, the splash screen
hung at 'Setting up interprocess comm..' for some time
and quit with error message 'Cant talk to dcopserver'
even though a quick ps did show dcopserver running.
I captured the error message produced by the startx
command and it contained lines like
