Subject: Wrong translation strings sometimes used in KGeography

I observe a rather strange translation bug in KGeography, where a string
is taken from the wrong language/translation.
I have my LANGUAGE variable set to:
LANGUAGE=nn:no:nb:da:en_GB:en@quot
I.e., prefer the ‘nn' (Norwegian Nynorsk) translation over ‘no', ‘nb',
‘da' &c. translations. This works great for most applications, but
apparently not for KGeography.
When I launch KGeography, choose the map for Norway and click on the
top-right (red) county, the popup says
Finnmarken
Vadsø
However, the original English string is ‘Finnmark', not ‘Finnmarken',
and the Norwegian Nynorsk (‘nn') translation is *also* ‘Finnmark'. It
looks like the string is taken from the Danish (‘da') translation (which
is ‘Finnmarken'). Why is this happening when 1) the Norwegian Nynorsk
translation *exists* and 2) Norwegian Nynorsk is preferred over Danish
in the LANGUAGE variable?
Note that this doesn't happen with *all* strings in KGeography. The main
UI is entirely in Norwegian Nynorsk, and the translation shown when I
click outside the country is ‘Ikkje Noreg' (source string: ‘Not
Norway'), *not* ‘Ikke Norge', which is used in the Danish translation.
Most names are identical in the Norwegian Nynorsk and Danish translation
(and in the original English) strings, so it's difficult to see which
language they are taken from. But if I change to Danish (‘da') to
Swedish (‘sv') in my language priority list
LANGUAGE=nn:no:nb:sv:en_GB:en@quot
it looks like the Swedish translations also override some of the
Norwegian Nynorsk ones. For example, the capitals of the three northern
counties are now shown as ‘Vadsö', ‘Tromsö' and ‘Bodö' (instead of
‘Vadsø', ‘Tromø' and ‘Bodø' in the Norwegian Nynorsk and original
English strings). But the ‘Not Norway' popup is still shown as ‘Ikkje
Noreg' (from the Norwegian Nynorsk translation), not ‘Inte Norge' (from
the Swedish translation).
I use openSUSE Tumbleweed. Can anyone confirm this issue for other
distros? And any ideas *why* this is happening and how to fix it?
