Do you remember also if they were talking about a specific language?


PS: for anyone coming here who does not know the history: any web-based 
translation system should be able to cope with the changes directly to our 
files by our automated and manual procedures. If this requirement is 
satisfied, nothing prevents setting up such server (minus the work required to 
do it), even if it will be up to each language team to decide whether to 
enable it.
