random comment of the day: how about doing desktop file validation as
part of CI and/or EBN to make sure both original and translations are
ok? If the original is incorrect the translations need not be checked
anyway, and if the orginal is correct the translations must be too.
Doesn't make sense to consider them separate entities IMO.
