No. These are used to modify the English documents, which are refreshed by 
update_xml to the versions in your language. When the po files are empty the 
Enlish version is used to generate the docbook or if they are partly 
translated, part of the English text will be replaced by the text in your 
language and after that a partly translated docbook will be generated.
