Hello, thank you for your answer. So if I understood this correctly:
-the extragear po/pot files in current stable 4.10 were imported from
previous stable e.g. 4.9 or 4.8 or 4.7 ...
-all the others don't have a stable branch at all - therefore they are only
present in trunk
Is this correct?
Atm. I will probably use Lokalize and just synchronize them, but if we
manage to get more people to contribute in the future, we might try the KDE
Summit.

The answer to your question is: it depends. Not all the projects outside KDE<br>
SC mantain a stable branch, so it depends on the release schedule of the<br>
stable version of the program you are translating (kile, kmymoney, skrooge or<br>
tellico in this case). Ask the developers of those applications (and please<br>
update the relevant techbase page :) to know if they will release again from<br>
the stable branch. If not, you don't need to copy the translations for that<br>
program to stable (as they won't be used).<br>
