It is an openSUSE patch which has to do with more than one editor in the 
Editor submenu. If there is only one editor the Editor submenu does not need 
to be there. However I have 5 items in the submenu Editor, three editors, 
kwrite, hexeditor, kate and 2 diff programs.
The patch has been offered upstream, but has not been accepted (yet). In my 
view it makes sense when there are these 5 programs in the Editor submenu.
