A note to any teams using summit and this is the first branching for them.

Don't try to scatter for a couple of days, until the dust settles. Also no
point in merging, since summit templates will not be gathered during this
time. You can continue translating in summit as usual, no disturbances
there. You should resume scatter and merge operations when you see the first
next commit of summit templates.
