To gravely add to the problem, the inserted elements ("Particle", etc.) are
in step_qt, which is a pure Qt catalog, so one cannot dynamically set forms:

  msgctxt "ObjectClass"
  msgid "Particle"
  msgstr ""
  "Partikkel"
  "|/|"
  "$[eigenskap bundenArtikkel 'ein partikkel']"

and instead has to define properties somewhere outside (duplicating source
messages), e.g. like you did in step.js.

(No practical point, just raining on pure Qt code :)
