That is what I would call a corpus. Two (free, online, with active places to 
test) tools for this purpose are the already mentioned open-tran and [the 
formerly known as] xesterm

Integrating a dictionary(glosssary) search tool into the desktop translators 
app would be another very useful thing, particularly if the tool allows to 
edit the dictionary/glossary. Unfortunately, I know not about any such 
service.
