I use it in the right way ;) and it works fully well.

You can use regular expressions to find strings, you can search those
and choose to replace or to skip, you can do all kinds of things through
the context menus like updating svn sources (and customizable actions
like autotranslation using a compendium, compiling and installing
translations - basically execute any gettext or any command line
commands on selected files or folders) etc.

A very useful tool.
