Actually those messages are coming from XFree/Xorg and they are often 
changed between releases, we were trying to keep in synch including 
older and newer versions of X but it does not work nice. The right way 
is to use new xml format which will contain translations made in Xorg 
and try to back them up for missing languages in KDE pot files. I am 
planning this solution for KDE4.
