Yeh, it's surely a lot of work, but since other things
such as testing,
simulating & building Telugu environment has already
been done by indlinux,
only translation work remains to do, so you can
straight way head for
translations. For a guide to speedy translations & for
available tools at
different platform etc. you can also refer:

AND for lot of work... well, we, the team of dedicated
two- yeh, G.
Karunakar (is deeply involved in other stuff as well)
& Ravishankar
Shrivastava had achieved 80+% Hindi translation in KDE
3.2 branches
(thats 50K+ strings) well within just 3 Months!; and
within 4 months team is
all set to achieve 90+%.

So, cheer up! NO WORK is never going to be LOTS OF
WORK buddy!

Ravi
