Yes, is that a problem?
I was far from sure how to only tag relevant files, so I'd rather tag too
much than too little. Tagging too little would mean that future
translations for the 1.1 branch would show up on HEAD, I expect.

You see, I plan rather big changes for 1.2 which means that it might take 4-6 month
before 1.2 is out. In that time frame I expect to put out a few 1.1.x
releases, which would include bug fixes plus new translations.

Now how would I easily instruct someone who wants to translate KimDaBa for
a 1.1.x release, for a language where no instructions exists, if I only did
this tagging suggested by you:

kde-i18n/templates/kdeextragear-2/kimdaba.pot
kde-i18n/templates/docs/kdeextragear-2/kimdaba*.pot
