When I use this

%n erstatning foretaget.\n
%n erstatninger foretaget.

kbabel tells me there is  no syntax error. If I replace the first %n by 1 or 
en, I am told there is a mistake. In view of some recent discussions here I 
am actually beginning to wonder whether 3 plural forms in English German ... 
wouldn't have been better

does actually looks pretty weird.
