I've just filed a bug report on this, so that we don't forget it. The 
conclusion of this thread was using the names "Norwegian Bokmål" (nb) and 
"Norwegian Nynorsk" (nn), and that's what I've recommended in the report:

On a related note; which character set does kde-i18n/teamnames use? I was 
about to correct it, but wasn't sure if I should use UTF-8 or ISO-8859-1.

And, where does the KTC and the GUI and doc statistics get the team names 
from? Do they use kde-i18n/teamnames, or is that yet another place to fix?
