Good. I have committed the following release schedule to developer.kde.org.
As usual, this is a suggestion, feel free to voice concerns (from developers who
intend to fix stuff, not from users fighting for a minor issue to be fixed in time :)
Well, if there's anything major we'd better be told about it though.

My hope is that by 01-Dec, KDE-3.1-final will already have been released. 
We don't want to release both at the same time, it's bad for media coverage :)

Translators: everything ok for koffice-1.2.1? I will take the translations from
KDE_3_0_BRANCH of kde-i18n, right?

<h3><b>Sunday December 01</b></h3>
Last day for translations and (approved) critical bugfixes commits.

<h3><b>Monday December 02</b></h3>
The HEAD branch of CVS is tagged KOFFICE_1_2_RELEASE and the day is spent testing
the release a final time.

<h3><b>Tuesday December 03</b></h3>
The tarballs are made and released to the packagers.

<p>The end of the week is spent testing the tarballs, packaging and writing the
announcement and changelog.
</p>

<h3><b>Monday December 09</b></h3>
The source and binary packages are uploaded to ftp.kde.org to give some time
for the mirrors to get them.

<h3><b>Tuesday December 10</b></h3>
Announce KOffice 1.2.1.
