Ok, looks like Harmony was a part of the GNU project. So, this leaves us
with a conversation that happened some time ago. For people that are
contributing code to Harmony do you want to keep copyright or assign it to
the FSF? For those who have contributed but no longer are contributing
would you want to do the same? Although assigning copyright to the FSF
does not shield one from legal liability (IANAL), it would make the FSF
liable and therefore on your side should legal action be taken against the
Harmony project. It would also make it so that TT would have to sue the
FSF which would be nothing short of a public relations suicide in the OSS
community.

Later,

Mark
